Our Staff

Podiatrists are highly skilled foot health professionals trained to deal with prevention, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of medical and surgical conditions of the feet and lower limbs. Our Podiatrists have completed a Bachelor of Podiatry or higher degree and are continually upgrading their skills and knowledge through further education and training.

Dr Michael Randles

Senior Practitioner

Michael completed a Bachelor in Teaching before studying Podiatry at La Trobe University, graduating in 1990.

Michael worked under leading Podiatric surgeon‘s Dr Mark Gilheaney and Dr Andrew Kingsford, Victoria’s first two Podiatric surgeon’s, before recognizing a need for Podiatry in the rapidly growing region of Werribee where he opened the Werribee Foot Clinic in 1993.

Michael has a particular interest and competency in treating overuse injury of the foot and lower limb injuries in children, adolescents and active adults, and has appeared on Radio SEN discussing football boots and assisting listeners’ general enquiries.

Senior Practitioner

Philip graduated from La Trobe University in 1989 and began work in Bendigo in private practice before running a practice in Frankston from 1991 until 1998 when he joined the Werribee Foot Clinic full time as an associate then senior partner in 2002.

Philip sites heel pain as the most common condition he sees and enjoys combining orthotic therapy, foot mobilization, Shock wave therapy and dry needling to achieve pain relief. He has a special interest in fitting orthotics to cycling shoes and setting up cycling shoe cleats to maximise comfort and power. Philip continues to develop his skills through further education and recently started the Ultimate Podiatry course which is the only on line Musculo- skeletal (MSK) course approved by the British Journal of Sports Medicine.

Dr Jessica McConnell

Podiatrist

Jess completed her studies of a Bachelor of Health Sciences and a Masters of Podiatric Practice at LaTrobe Universtity Bendigo in 2015. Jess enjoys all aspects of podiatry and working with patients of all ages. Jess has a special interest in Nail Care, including ingrown toenails requiring Nail Surgery or fungal toenails and also offers a treatment called Keryflex which restores the appearance of damaged nails.
In her spare time Jess is kept busy attending sporting events and spending time with her family and friends.

LYNETTE DI BLASI

Lynette joined the practice in 2003 in a part time basis bringing experience in the health service industry and full time motherhood. Lynette has an extremely happy disposition and can be often found engaged in conversation showing genuine empathy with our clients.

Karyn is our newest team member at Werribee Foot Clinic. Karyn joins us with years of reception experience working previously with other allied health practitioners. We are lucky enough to have Karyn join us on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.

PAI CHASTON

Our lovely receptionist Pai joined us in January 2022, she brings a wealth of experience previously working reception in the allied health field for a number years.
