Our Staff

Podiatrists are highly skilled foot health professionals trained to deal with prevention, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of medical and surgical conditions of the feet and lower limbs. Our Podiatrists have completed a Bachelor of Podiatry or higher degree and are continually upgrading their skills and knowledge through further education and training.

Dr Michael Randles

Senior Practitioner

Michael completed a Bachelor in Teaching before studying Podiatry at La Trobe University, graduating in 1990.

Michael worked under leading Podiatric surgeon‘s Dr Mark Gilheaney and Dr Andrew Kingsford, Victoria’s first two Podiatric surgeon’s, before recognizing a need for Podiatry in the rapidly growing region of Werribee where he opened the Werribee Foot Clinic in 1993.

Michael has a particular interest and competency in treating overuse injury of the foot and lower limb injuries in children, adolescents and active adults, and has appeared on Radio SEN discussing football boots and assisting listeners’ general enquiries.

Dr Philip Spark

Senior Practitioner

Philip graduated from La Trobe University in 1989 and began work in Bendigo in private practice gaining invaluable experience working with industry leader Mr Gerard O’Dwyer before running a practice in Frankston from 1991 until 1998 when he joined the Werribee Foot Clinic full time as an associate then senior partner in 2002.

Philip sites heel pain as the most common condition he sees and enjoys combining orthotic therapy, foot mobilization, Shock wave therapy and dry needling to achieve pain relief. He has a special interest in Diabetic management and the treatment of the high risk foot.


Matthew graduated in Podiatry from La Trobe University in 2013 with a Masters of Podiatric Practice following a Bachelor of Science majoring in Anatomy & Physiology. He has a wonderful knowledge of footwear with his years working at The Athletes Foot and in the Footwear industry. Matt has played football at a VFL level and since finishing football is concentrating on Triathalon with his goal of completing an Iron Man distance in the near future.

Sam Meehan


Sam began a career in Podiatry following completion of both a Bachelor of Health Sciences and a Masters in Podiatric Practice through La Trobe University. He holds a particular interest in the area of lower limb biomechanics and the management of musculoskeletal conditions and is dedicated to providing the best possible outcomes to his patients.

Sam’s previous experience in private practice involves working alongside local sporting & community groups, as well as implementing orthotic therapy for a variety of conditions.

Having spent a number of years as a footwear sales assistant, Sam is able to incorporate this knowledge into his podiatry practice.
Sam has a background in both playing and coaching tennis and enjoys running in his spare time.


Reception Staff

Lynette joined the practice in 2003 in a part time basis bringing experience in the health service industry and full time motherhood. Lynette has an extremely happy disposition and can be often found engaged in conversation showing genuine empathy with our clients.

Roma has recently taken on a greater role in the area of office management.

Kylee Bond


Kylee joined the clinic as a receptionist in November 2018 and brings with her a wealth of experience, as well as a very friendly and good natured approach to all aspects of her role.
